Twice a year, as girls from both sides of the world finish their  year at  Yeud, a Final Banquette is thrown. A theme is chosen by the leaving graduates and the evening includes a festive meal, speeches, laughs and a lot of tears. Saying goodbye this way brings closure both to girls and staff.     

We see the remembrance of the holocaust an integral part of Jewish identity. So in addition to an optional yearly class that deals with faith during the holocaust, the girls who are interested are invited to join us on our trip to Poland. The trip is chaperoned by staff members and professional guides, giving the participants a glance into the life before of the Hasidim and suburban Jews, and the horrors that took place there. We finish our journey at the Kotel, with the message of building and Zionism, strengthening our Jewish identity and pride.

 A new program that has been created at Yeud is the Mishmar. Each Thursday night before a Midrasha Shabbat, girls stay up all night, learning Torah.

Teachers come in to give shiurim, girls give shiurim and at five thirty in the morning, everyone goes to the Kotel to daven Vatikin. It is a great way for girls to learn Torah in a serious but fun environment.

Of course, we can't name all the special activities we have here at Yeud. Some are specific time related activities like our Hanukkah party, Slichot, and Shavuot in the Rova. While others are just fun social activities organized by the Madrichot like speed dating, dream night, BBQ, and much much more!
